Meat theft at Wasaga Beach grocery store

OPP are asking for the public's help locating a woman they believe is involved with an incident in Wasaga Beach.

A brazen daylight theft of $250 worth of meat has the police asking for the public’s help.

Foodland staff at the River Road West in Wasaga Beach location called police around 6 p.m. to report the missing meat Sunday.

Provincial police describe the subject as light-skinned with dark hair, wearing dark pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Huronia West OPP is seeking the public’s assistance and anyone with information is asked to contact 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 1-800-222-8477.
