National Draft Horse Show to return to Essa

For lovers of all things equestrian, a visit to the Essa Agriplex may be a fun way to spend your August civic holiday weekend.

The Essa National Draft Horse Show is returning to town, kicking off on Aug. 1.

The show was once part of a much larger draft show held at the Canadian National Exhibition, but it later found a permanent home at the Essa.

For residents of Essa, it acts as an opportunity to locally showcase their best draft horses.

On the civic holiday, the event will feature competitions and vendors for visitors to enjoy.
