A ruckus on the west side of Owen Sound sent police to check out the cause.
Before police arrived at the home Sunday at 4 p.m., a man fled the house and drove away. Owen Sound Police attempted to top the car on several occasions but halted the pursuit for public safety reasons.
However, with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) air support and its K9 unit, the man was arrested Monday morning east of Owen Sound.

The criminal investigations team obtained a warrant for the home and once inside, seized large quantities of drugs and cash, including:
- Fentanyl equivalent to approximately 860 individual doses
- Approximately 800 grams of cocaine
- Over $30,000 in Canadian currency
Police estimate the street value of the fentanyl to be about $17,000, and the cocaine is valued at $80,000.
Police arrested a 23-year-old man of no fixed address and charged him with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Uttering threats to cause death
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Two counts of flight from police
- Mischief under $5,000
- Two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Failure to comply with probation
