Police find body in vehicle in Innisfil

An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in a vehicle in Innisfil.

South Simcoe Police say they responded to a call for a personal injury motor vehicle collision at a home on Innisfil Beach Road shortly after 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say when officers arrived on scene, they found a 30-year-old man deceased in a vehicle.

The man was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

Details are scarce and South Simcoe Police say the coroner’s office is now leading the investigation.
