Stun, bear spray among the many items seized during search warrant

An armful of drugs, weapons and cash were seized during a raid at home in Collingwood Friday.

Items seized by the Collingwood and the Blue Mountains Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Huronia West CSCU include:

• 1004 grams cocaine
• 643 grams cannabis
• 107 grams MDMA
• Bulk Canadian currency - $12,930
• Digital scale
• Packaging material
• Stun gun
• Bear spray
• Bulk unmarked cigarettes
• 3 cellphones

Police charged a 28-year-old Collingwood man with possession of opioids and cocaine, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon.

The second accused, a 22-year-old Collingwood woman, was charged with possession of opioids and cocaine, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon.

Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood at a later date.
