Two people are facing charges after a theft at a Midland store earlier this month.

According to provincial police, officers were called to the Canadian Tire in the town on Feb. 9, shortly after 2 p.m.

Police say two people left the store with multiple tools that weren’t paid for.

OPP have identified two men as suspects in this incident. A 40-year-old from Orillia and 32-year-old from Midland are both facing theft charges. One of the suspects is also facing an additional charge of failing to comply with their probation requirements.

Both suspects have been released and are expected to appear in court in April.
