Two men are facing charges after $70,000-worth of drugs and almost a dozen guns were seized by Calgary police.
The charges were laid as part of a two-month-long investigation that began in January after police became aware of a man allegedly breaching the court-imposed conditions of his release.
The investigation, a joint effort with RCMP and the Calgary Police Service, concluded with the search of four homes in the city’s northeast and Airdrie, and four vehicles, on March 18.
During the search, police seized the following:
- 10 electronic devices;
- 2.41 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine pressed into 4,000 tablets, worth an estimated street value of $48,000;
- 224.1 grams of suspected cocaine, worth an estimated $22,410;
- 25.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine, worth an estimated $2,550;
- Seven tablets of Oxycodone, worth an estimated $140
- Ammunition; and,
- 11 unlawfully possessed firearms.

Police arrested four people, two of whom were released without charges.
The two men charged are facing dozens of drugs and weapons-related offences.

Both are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
