Airdrie RCMP hoping to identify suspects who stole from several vehicles

Two suspects were caught on camera stealing items from vehicles in Airdrie, Alta., early on Tuesday morning.

Police are asking for help from the public to identify suspects who stole from several vehicles in Airdrie and fled from officers earlier this week.

Airdrie RCMP said beginning at 2:30 a.m. on May 20, thieves stole from multiple vehicles parked in Reunion Court, Woodside Drive and Bayside.

Surveillance video from one of the incidents shows the suspects pull up to a home in a white Hyundai Accent before entering a parked truck and stealing multiple items.

RCMP tried to stop the vehicle in the 800 block of Yankee Valley Boulevard around 4:12 a.m., but the suspects fled.

Police checked the Ontario licence plate and learned the vehicle was stolen.
