A Calgary man who won a whopping $1 million on the lottery says it’s been a “dream come true.”
Lovepreet Singh purchased his winning Lotto 6-49 ticket from the Circle K on Coral Springs Boulevard N.E.
He says he was out running errands when he stopped for gas and decided to check his ticket.
After realizing he won, Singh sent his wife a Snapchat to share the news.
“She was shouting on the stairs when I got home,” he said in a Thursday news release from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation. “She was completely surprised and so excited!”
Singh says he and his wife are planning to buy a house together.
He won his prize in the March 15 Gold Ball draw with the selection 32814105-02, a white ball.
