Get ready for a hot weekend in the city, Calgary. Temperatures in the city will soar for Saturday. The afternoon temperature will climb to 28 C, and it will feel more like 30 with the humidity. There will be cloudy periods at times — especially in the morning. Thunderstorms are expected to start popping up in southern Alberta after 4 p.m. Sunday. Some of those storms could be severe, and there’s a 40 per cent chance thunderstorms will creep into Calgary. Temperatures will regulate to the mid-20s by Monday.
