Calgary police investigating four-vehicle hit-and-run on Barlow Trail

Police are investigating after a multi-vehicle hit-and-run on Barlow Trail on Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly after 1 p.m., police said a crash involving four vehicles occurred at the intersection of Barlow Trail and 23 Avenue N.E.

The driver of an offending vehicle fled.

One person received minor injuries as a result of the crash.

Initially, multiple lanes on Barlow Trail were blocked as crews investigated, disrupting traffic.

As of 2 p.m., City of Calgary traffic cameras showed police still on the scene, off to the side of 23rd Avenue, with traffic moving more normally on Barlow Trail.
