Calgary police reveal surveillance footage of suspect vehicle in North Hill Co-Op shooting

Calgary police are releasing CCTV footage of the suspects' vehicle in a shooting that took place at the North Hill Co-Op on May 11, 2026.

Homicide investigators with the Calgary Police Service are releasing surveillance photos of the suspect vehicle believed to be involved in a deadly shooting earlier this week at a local grocery store.

Police were called to the North Hill Co-Op in the city’s northeast on Monday evening where two men were found with gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Both men were taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, and one of those men later died in hospital.

Police later said the shooting was likely linked to organized crime and revealed on Tuesday the surviving victim was caught in the crosshairs of a targeted shooting by two suspects.

On Thursday, investigators released photos of the suspects’ vehicle, which is described as a white SUV with the passenger-side rear window partially broken and taped over.

Police are asking anyone with dash-cam footage from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday in the area of 504 16 Ave N.E. and heading eastbound to Strathmore to contact them by calling 403-266-1234.
