Centre Clark Bishop was recalled to the Calgary Flames Thursday from the Calgary Wranglers.
Bishop has scored 33 points in 39 games for the Wranglers this season, including six game-winning goals.
He’ll replace forward Walker Duehr, who was claimed on waivers Wednesday by the San Jose Sharks.
Duehr played 16 games for the Flames this season, registering one assist. He played 40 games for Calgary last season, scoring twice and adding five assists.
The Flames are in action Thursday night against the Buffalo Sabres.

Bishop said his parents were arriving for a visit before the call-up was announced.
“It just kind of timed out that they were on their way here, so it’s going to be a good trip for them,” Bishop said in a TSN interview.
“He’s a hard player,” Flames coach Ryan Huska said, “and our fourth line hasn’t been great over the last little while, and he’s also a good penalty killer, so we felt it was a good time to give him an opportunity.”
