CFD responds to truck fire in southwest Calgary

The Calgary Fire Department says a truck parked in the driveway of a southwest home caught fire early Friday morning.

A truck fire damaged a home in southwest Calgary, officials told CTV News Friday.

The Calgary Fire Department was called to the 7000 block of Churchill Drive S.W. at about 6 a.m.

On arrival, firefighters discovered a burning truck in the driveway of a home.

The blaze was quickly extinguished, but it caused minor damage to the exterior of an adjacent home.

CFD have not said if there are any injuries.

The cause is under investigation.
