A child was transported to hospital after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in southwest Calgary.
The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m., at the intersection of Millrise Drive S.W. and Millrise Hill S.W.
EMS confirmed a child was transported to hospital from the scene in serious but stable, non-life-threatening condition.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The intersection was closed for a time as a result of the incident, and the subsequent investigation.
