Firefighters in Cochrane battled a fire that created a lot of thick black smoke.
The fire broke out in a mulch pile near Cochrane’s sawmill operations Wednesday afternoon.
One witness captured video of the fire pouring smoke high into the sky.
Bystanders said the Cochrane Fire Department appeared to extinguish the fire quickly.
There are no reports of injuries and no word on what caused it.
