Human remains found in Nose Hill Park not the result of homicide: Calgary police

Calgary police say human remains found in Nose Hill Park on Friday are not believed to be criminal in nature.

Officers were called to the park, located in the 6400 block of 14 Street N.W., just before 11 a.m. after a pedestrian made the discovery.

Police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.

On Monday, police said though they’re still awaiting autopsy results, the death isn’t believed to be the result of a homicide.
