More than 800 Calgary students will head to the University of Calgary’s Olympic Oval this week for what’s being called Canada’s largest science fair.
The Calgary Youth Science Fair (CYSF) has been held for the past six decades, but this will mark its 13th year at the oval.
Participants will range from Grades 5 to 12.
Their projects will be reviewed by more than 500 volunteer judges, who will determine who wins an award and also who qualifies for a spot in the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Fredericton, N.B., in May.
The 2025 CYSF will be held on Friday and Saturday.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, followed by award presentations between noon and 2 p.m.
