The Calgary Hitmen got the most shots but the Lethbridge Hurricanes got all the goals in Game 1 of their WHL playoff series Thursday night.

Lethbridge got outshot 33-24, but Jackson Unger outduelled Daniel Hauser, who returned to the Hitmen goal after missing the previous series against the Saskatoon Blades.

Kooper Gizowski and Brayden Edwards scored in the first period and Logan Wormald added one in the second to send the Hurricanes out for the third leading 3-0.

In the third, Calgary poured it on, outshooting Lethbridge 13-1 but it was the Hurricanes who scored when Noah Chadwick notched his second post-season goal of this year’s playoffs to make the final score 4-0.

Unger registered the shutout for the Hurricanes.

Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday, with select lower bowl seats still available for $25. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m.
