Hurricanes win ninth straight game, defeating Red Deer 4-0

The Lethbridge Hurricanes feel just as comfortable on the road as they do at home, judging by their 4-0 victory over the Red Deer Rebels Saturday night.

The win was the club’s ninth straight road victory.

Leo Braillard and Brayden Edwards scored a pair of first period goals to give Lethbridge a 2-0 lead early and it held throughout a scoreless second period as well.

In the third, Braden Yager made it 3-0 and with just under nine minutes remaining, Carsen Adair fired one home to make it 4-0.

The Hurricanes outshot the Rebels 28-25.

Next up for the Hurricanes is a Tuesday night matchup against the Calgary Hitmen at the Saddledome, before welcoming the Rebels for a return match Wednesday night.
