Investigation underway into business fire in McKenzie Town Centre

Calgary police are seeking information about 3 people of interest and a fire early Friday morning in McKenzie Town Centre (Calgary police)

An investigation is underway into a fire at a business in McKenzie Towne Centre that took place early Friday morning.

Some time between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., three people were observed prowling businesses along High Street S.E. It’s believed the trio broke into a food truck behind the business, then set fire to the truck.

Once the fire was set, the suspects fled on foot.

Damage to the food truck is estimated to be around $20,000.

The first man is described as having a slim build and light skin. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with white zipper and black pants, white running shoes and a red or orange and grey backpack.

The second man is described as having a slim build and light skin tone. He was last seen wearing a black Nike hoodie, black pants and white runners.

The third suspect, a woman, was last seen wearing a black three-quarter length jacket with light blue jeans, and black boots.
