Less intense cold after Thursday morning, and the snow is mostly done too

It will be less cold for the rest of the week, but there will still be some frigid air to kick off Thursday morning in Calgary.

With the wind chill, it will feel closer to -35 at 6 a.m. and -25 at 9 a.m.

We are mainly done with the snow for a while.

We will catch the edge of a ridge of high pressure on Saturday.

That will be the warmest day of the next 10 days as we climb (for one day) into the minus single digits.

Then, Sunday through Valentine’s Day, our daytime highs will be in the minus teens.
