Lethbridge looking for a few Mighty Neighbours

The City of Lethbridge is kicking off its winter edition of the Mighty Neighbours program.

“Any extra work that our community members can do really makes a big difference and it brings our community together in a really positive way,” said Heather Gowland, the city’s transportation communication strategist. “A lot of our volunteers are family members, neighbours, volunteer groups, sports organizations and they can come together and work on something and really make an impact on our community.”

To nominate a Mighty Neighbour, visit the city website and share a story about your neighbourhood’s unsung heroes.

Each winter month, a nomination will be selected and receive a small recognition gift.
