Man faces several charges after hit-and-run, attempted carjacking: CPS

Calgary police have a man in custody after a hit-and-run collision at about 2:45 p.m. Friday.

The driver of a black Ford F-150 crashed into a cement barrier at 17 Avenue and 14A Street S.W., deploying the airbag, but witnesses tell officers they watched the man walk away.

About half an hour later, investigators stopped a carjacking in the 1700 Block of 13 Street S.W.

Police arrested the suspect and say he faces numerous charges related to driving offences and attempted robbery.
