Calgary police have confirmed one person is dead after a shooting at the Super 8 Motel in the northeast.
Emergency crews were called out to the motel at 3030 Barlow Trail NE just before 4:00 p.m. Monday for reports of gunshots fired.
Police have not said whether the victim is a man or woman.
ASIRT Alberta says it is now investigating an officer involved shooting at the location.
