Strathmore RCMP conducted a high-risk operation in the village of Rockyford on Wednesday afternoon and asked nearby residents to shelter in place.
They also asked the public not to travel through the village until the situation had been resolved.
Later Wednesday evening, Mounties said the shelter-in-place order had been lifted and individuals had been taken into custody.
No further details were given.
