Saturday will likely bring record-breaking heat to Calgary (and many other Alberta communities)

There'll be a potential for broken records on Saturday. As hot as Friday was, it's set to get even hotter from there.

Well, if you thought Friday was summery, wait until you feel the heat on Saturday!

There will likely be record-breaking heat for Calgary (and many other Alberta communities) to kick off the weekend.

There will also be a small chance of a late-day shower or T-storm in Calgary.

There’s a greater chance of that north of Calgary, up the QEII:

Then, we’ll completely switch gears for Sunday.

There will be significantly cooler temperatures in comparison to Saturday and on/off showers are likely.

But another ridge of high pressure will roll in for Monday and temperatures will start to climb again, with lots of sunshine:
