There’s a good chance to get some vitamin D this afternoon with another day of sunshine ahead of us, but it won’t help much on the temperature front.
We are in a holding pattern when it comes to our upper air set up.
A dominant Arctic air mass is enveloping much of the country, keeping things cold and relatively stable.

We will have some clouds move in over the city tonight, which will help trap some of the heat the sun produced during the day getting us to a high of -9 on Saturday.
But clouds packing some flurries will push in from the northwest late Saturday afternoon, so some slippery conditions on the roads are possible Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
Overall we could see about four centimetres of snowfall from this brief flurry event.

The rest of Sunday will remain cloudy and more cold air will start to move in with a high of -15.
It’s still a great weekend to get out and enjoy your favourite winter activities and festivals, but just make sure to wear plenty of layers!
