The University of Lethbridge’s faculty of fine arts is debuting a new festival on Saturday.
The public is invited to the university to see the work done by its students.
Vibe Fest will allow attendees the opportunity to see parts of the university they don’t always get to see.
All four fine arts programs will be represented at the festival.
The event is free and open to anyone in the public to attend.
The faculty of fine arts believes the festival will help connect students to the rest of the art scene in Lethbridge.
“Within the university, the reception has been a lot of excitement. Our students are super pumped about getting to show off their work for their family and friends and for the community,” said Heather Davis-Fisch, U of L faculty of fine arts dean.
“There’s a lot of excitement as well, because it allows our students from different departments to see the work of their peers.”

Vibe Fest is Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Pre-registration isn’t required but is encouraged.
