Calgary reached a high of 14 C on Tuesday, with wind gusts peaking over 50 km/h, and it looks like Wednesday will be very similar.
Some light and scattered precipitation is possible across southern Alberta today, with a slight chance of convective activity (thunderstorms) around Jasper.
More stability is forecast for Thursday and Friday as the upper pattern moves from a more zonal flow to a meridional one (one with distinct ridges and troughs or north-south waves).

There will be a sharp drop in temperatures from Friday to Saturday with daytime high values dropping from 16 C on Friday to 5 C on Saturday.

Both Saturday and Sunday will be cloudy with a chance of rain or even a rain/snow mix depending on the timing and elevation.
It will start to warm up again on Monday with above seasonal values forecast for most of next week.
