Warming trend around the corner, but a couple more cold days to go

Published:

We've made our way through the lengthy cold stretch, and now, we're heading into a lengthy warm stretch.

Be prepared for another couple of frigid days before the warming trend begins.

Areas north and east of Calgary are looking at a wind chill of -40 Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Further east, even colder—in Medicine Hat area, it’ll be a wind chill of -49.

Frostbite is possible in less than 10 minutes, and there is a risk of hypothermia if outside for too long.

Certainly, it’s cold to take seriously.
