Wranglers hang on for 4-3 win over Roadrunners to sweep 2-game Saddledome set

The Calgary Wranglers hung tough Wednesday night then hung on for a 4-3 win over the Tucson Runners.

The victory gave the Wranglers a sweep of their back-to-back set of games at the Saddledome after they also won 6-2 Tuesday night.

After falling behind 2-1 in the first, the Wranglers fought back in the second, getting a goal from Martin Frk to tie it up at two apiece.

After the Roadrunners regained the lead, Frk scored again to tie it up, then in the third, he set up Dryden Hunt on a power play to give the Wranglers a 4-3 advantage.

Hunter Brzustewic had the other goal for the Wranglers.

Cameron Hebig had two for the Roadrunners, with Ryan McGregor notching the other goal.

Next up for the Wranglers is a five day road trip to California, starting Friday night against the San Diego Gulls.
