A young girl was airlifted from the Nakiska ski area on Wednesday afternoon after suffering an injury.
Paramedics were contacted around 1:15 p.m.
EMS says “one youth” was in non-life-threatening condition when they arrived.
Ultimately, it was a STARS air ambulance that transported her away from the Nakiska ski area.
STARS says they flew “a female child” to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary for further treatment.
She was in stable condition, STARS says.
No further details regarding Wednesday’s incident were available as of the time of this writing.
