1 dead after single-vehicle crash in northern Alberta

One person has died after a crash in the County of Grande Prairie on Wednesday.

Emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle rollover at Highway 674 and Range Road 43 at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was extracted but died at the scene.

STARS Air Ambulance was deployed but stood down.

The victim has been identified as a 68-year-old man from the County of Grande Prairie.

The highway is now clear and normal traffic flow has resumed.
