Two people have been charged in connection with a recent armed home invasion in Drayton Valley and a stabbing in Brazeau County.
Both incidents happened on April 19.
Mounties were first notified of the home invasion, during which the assailants had a firearm. RCMP said an adult was hospitalized with injuries to their face and head, but was not shot.
While they were investigating the break-in, they were called to another at a rural property in Brazeau County, during which a man had been stabbed multiple times.
A man and a woman were arrested the following day after police executed search warrants at a property in Tomahawk and another in Red Deer.
They are both 34 years old and were known to police.
They face multiple charges related to robbery, breaking and entering, assault, and firearms.
