A man has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to a 2023 homicide in southwest Edmonton. On the morning of Oct. 11 that year, police responded to a weapons complaint in an apartment building near 106 Street and 80 Avenue. Officers found a man, Jordan McDonald, with serious, life-threatening injuries. He died at the scene. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound. On Saturday, Sean Broadley, 50, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Broadley and McDonald weren’t known to each other, according to Edmonton police.
