The 54-year-old was in possession of more than 55 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of methamphetamine and $5,000 cash, the Edmonton Police Service said.
Later that day, police searched an apartment in the area of 172 Street and 67 Avenue where the men were living and found a bag with 2,700 grams of fentanyl worth more than $400,000.

They also found 120 grams of meth, 80 grams of cocaine, hundreds of illegal cigarettes, a Canadian passport, two stolen license plates, more than $1,000 in cash and “evidence of drug production,” the Wednesday news release read.
