Man’s death on 124 Street deemed not criminal

The Edmonton Police Service's (EPS) homicide unit is now leading an investigation into the death of a 22-year-old man.

The Edmonton Police Service homicide unit has determined the death of a 22-year-old man was not criminal.

A man in medical distress was reported to police outside of a home near 124 Street and 109 Avenue at 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The man’s body was found at the scene.

Police initially called the death suspicious, but after an autopsy, concluded the manner of death was not criminal.
