Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has charged a 36-year-old woman with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a man earlier this month. During the morning of June 10, police were responding to an unrelated incident in the area of 118 Avenue and 47 Street when they became aware of a “seriously injured man” coming out of a building. The victim, 32-year-old Michael Joseph Conway, was taken to hospital and later died, EPS said in a release. The woman was taken into custody. An autopsy completed last week determined the man died of stab wounds. Police say his death is a homicide and the two were known to each other.
