EPS searching for thieves who robbed cannabis store twice in downtown Edmonton

Edmonton Police Service is looking for two people following several robberies at a cannabis store in central Edmonton.

The first robbery happened on Oct. 17 at 8:11 p.m. near 105 Street and 107 Avenue where a man walked into a cannabis store alone wearing a pink wig, a mask and armed with a gun, EPS said.

He asked about some of the store’s products before demanding cash from the till.

The second robbery occurred Nov. 11 at 5:40 p.m.

The masked man was wearing a clown mask and was accompanied by a woman who was wearing a plaid jacket, a black baseball cap and black Nike sneakers.

Again, the masked man inquired about cannabis products before demanding cash, police said.

The thieves fled northbound on a bicycle after the second robbery.

Police described the man as 5′5″, thin, and was “possibly wearing a ring on his left ring finger.”
