RCMP have laid charges against the former head of the law enforcement training centre in Lac La Biche. Police were contacted in June about allegations of sexual assault and said when the director was identified as the alleged offender, he was removed from the position. The offences are alleged to have happened in 2024 when the victim was a candidate in training at the centre. Christopher Clark, 42, of Lac La Biche is charged with sexual assault. He was released from custody with a new court date in mid-November. Police believe there may be other victims and ask them to contact the Lac La Biche RCMP detachment or their own local law enforcement agency.
