Wilco is coming to Edmonton. The indie-rock superstars behind hits like Jesus, Etc. and I Am Trying to Break Your Heart will play the Jubilee Auditorium on Aug. 30.
The sextet comprised of Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Glenn Kotche, Pat Sansone, Nels Cline and Mikael Jorgensen formed in 1994 in Chicago.
The band went on to release 13 studio albums and win multiple Grammy awards as well as founding their own record label, dBpm Records.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.
The concert is being put on by the Edmonton Folk Music Festival and Tooth Blackner.
