Three people were arrested after a man was kidnapped, tied to a chair and shot south of Edmonton earlier this week, Mounties said.
Maskwacis RCMP found the victim with a gunshot wound in the basement of a Samson Cree Nation home Monday night.
A 36-year-old man was charged with kidnapping with a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent and aggravated assault.
Two other men, 25 and 18, were charged with kidnapping with a firearm.
They’re scheduled to appear in court Thursday and Tuesday.
A firearm was seized at the scene. Anyone with information about the origins of the firearm is asked to call police.
