Mounties are warning the public about the release of a man who was convicted of a sexual crime against a minor and who they believe will offend a child again. Terry Haskell, 73, will be living in Red Deer. He served a custodial sentence after being convicted of sexual interference. Alberta RCMP say he has been assessed to be “well above average risk for sexual recidivism.” He is forbidden from being in contact with or in places where children under the age of 16 are. He will also be listed in the National Sex Offender Registry for the rest of his life.
