The Edmonton Oilers have signed a defenceman to a two-year entry-level contract starting next season.
Damien Carfagna, 22, played a total of 72 games for Ohio State University during the past two seasons, the Oilers said.
The left-shot defenceman recorded nine goals and 25 assists.
He’s from Wood-Ridge, New Jersey.
