A man has been charged with arson after a statue was destroyed in Sherwood Park last month.
The Sam Steele memorial statue, located in the area of Athabascan Avenue and Broadmoor Boulevard, was destroyed by fire on March 21.
A 23-year-old man was charged with arson.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
