An Edmonton restaurant is a finalist in the 2026 Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants list. Rita Trattoria, an Italian restaurant on Jasper Avenue, is one of 30 eateries across Canada to make the list. Sushi Jun and Penny Crown in Calgary also got nods, the only other restaurants in the province to do so. The top 10 restaurants will be announced on Nov. 16. This is the 25th year for the Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants list.
