Wabasca RCMP are asking for public assistance to help identify a suspect vehicle in a fatal hit-and-run. Officers responded a pedestrian who was struck on Sawmill Road just after midnight Thursday. The victim was a 54-year-old Wabasca woman, who was declared dead on scene by EMS. Anyone with information on a white pickup truck that was driving in the area is asked to contact Wabasca RCMP at 780-891-3768.
