A man wanted for assault and his missing son have been found, the Edmonton Police Service confirms. On Wednesday, police issued a media release asking the public for help finding the 30-year-old man and his 12-year-old son. The man was wanted on warrants for charges including aggravated assault. Police said his family has identified him as having mental health concerns that could pose a risk to his son’s safety. At the time they were reported missing, police said the case did not meet the standard to issue an Amber alert. EPS said on Saturday the boy is safe and the man was arrested on outstanding warrants.
