The evacuation order prompted by wildfire in a county northwest of Edmonton on Thursday has been lifted. Residents of Thunder Lake in Barrhead County No. 11 were told to leave their homes Thursday afternoon. Alberta Emergency Alert said on Friday the fires had been extinguished and that the evacuation order had been lifted. Summerlea residents were initially told to leave as well but their order was lifted when the fires were contained at around 6 p.m., the county said.
